Welcome one and all to my blog…or ‘céad míle fáilte’ (a hundred thousand welcomes) as they say in the Emerald Isle! This is exciting for me as it’s the first post of, hopefully, many. As you know by now, the long awaited site is in its infancy and is still a work in progress. As the ancient proverb decrees:
Here, I hope to be imparting plenty more pearls of wisdom, news and views. We’ll be introducing features across the website over the coming weeks and months, such as:
- More work and extensive image galleries for each individual piece
- Multimedial blog posts offering insight into my life, practice and figurative sculpture within a wider context
- Audience interaction where users can become key contributors to the site AND my work!
- Integrated social media (jump on the bandwagon early by following me on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
We’ll be tinkering with layouts and ideas and would love to hear your thoughts on the site as well, get in touch here.
Oh, one more thing, watch out for music button at the bottom of the Gallery page; Sharon Murphy’s “Great Dark One”, an ethereal and haunting piece that resonates powerfully with the intent behind my work.
That’s it for now,
